The Snow Creatures by S P Oldham

Review by Abraham (8)

I really liked this book.

It would be great to read at Christmas.

The pictures are really cute and reminds me how much we need to look after our wildlife.

I think this would be a great story for all children to read.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

How Fairies Began by Diana Linden

Review by Abraham (8)

I really enjoyed this book. It’s good for boys and girls around my age (8) but I think grown-ups would like it too. The pictures are amazing and fit with each poem and story. I think this book would make for great bedtime reading. The Farmyard Fairies is my favourite poem.

My favourite line from the book is:

‘Twinkling, twirling and tumbling, they fell from such a great height, these magical orbs of luminous pink, violet, blue, yellow and white.”

Poem – How Fairies Began
